Join Isaac at the Penticton Seniors’ Drop-in Centre – Press Release

Community members are welcome to join Isaac Gilbert on Friday, September 9 at 7:00 pm at the Penticton Seniors’ Drop-in Centre for his 2022 campaign launch.

Isaac Gilbert, a B.C. Park Ranger and chair of the City of Penticton Parks and Recreation Committee, is running for Penticton City Council! He has led the city’s Parks and Rec Committee for the past four years, which includes the notable accomplishment of establishing the Skaha Lake East and Robson Park master plans. He also was a member of the RFP committee for the Skaha Lake Marina.

Housing affordability, economic sustainability, and community building are the tenets guiding his policies for this election. Addressing people’s insecurities around housing, jobs, and accessing the services they need will connect and bring the community together in a positive and uplifting way.

As a peace officer and working in crime prevention at BC Parks, Isaac brings much needed expertise to help address crime in the city. He wants to empower the city to utilize new planning policies to make the streets in Penticton safer.
